MillionMiles Media is a global publishing company creating content which is unquestionably relevant to our users. Sometimes “relevant” means that they will almost stand on their head to follow some valuable piece of advice. Either they have looked for it in a search engine, or some friends have referred the article through their social network.

Our proprietary technology is able to identify these needs after which we create and curate our content production. The interaction with our users is key to our understanding how to make our destinations on the web, the mobile, the iPad and whatever devices will come up in the future, more relevant. And sometimes we entirely step back, hand the tools over to our users and let them write about whatever they feel is important to their lives.

What’s the name about

MillionMiles Media will go a million miles plus the last mile to delight our users, writers and employees. We will be relentless in fulfilling this mission, flexible to adapt to the changes and challenges thrown our way and cognizant that a journey of a million miles starts with the first step today.

MillionMiles Media has its headquarters in London, but its footprint is global. Our authors hail from all over the world and we’ll roll out projects all over the globe in every major language.

Who’s behind

René Seifert, a serial entrepreneur in the tech, media- and internet-space, founded MillionMiles Media in June 2010. René is a half-German and half-Croatian who has been living between Bangalore (India) and Europe since 2003 after founding the offshore-advisory Level 360.

His personal and professional passion has ever since been in media. He worked as was a radio presenter, journalist and media-manager for more than 10 years, among others for the German broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk, the international media conglomerate Bertelsmann and the global publisher Holtzbrinck. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Augsburg.

René is an active investor with Mumbai Angels, member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (Chapter Bangalore) and shares his impressions about globalization, travel and digital media on his personal blog under reneseifert.com
